Almost ten years ago, Stranger Things first premiered on Netflix. Before the end of 2025, all episodes of the final season will be released. Fans will miss the build-up to the next season, but they will not miss going years waiting to see what is added to the story and lore. There will never be another season.
It is hard to imagine that Stranger Things will ever have an ending, but here we are. Whether you were there since the first episode or started watching Stranger Things later, this show has had a huge influence on those who have seen it.
Stranger Things has been a very popular Netflix show among almost all ages. It was so popular that a Broadway musical prequel, titled The First Shadow, was created to help provide context for what we have seen so far in season 5. It focuses on the story of Henry Creel and how he became Vecna. Even if you did not see the play, you can still find the plot summary online.
Although the cast is very excited for everyone to see how the show ends, they are still upset that the show will be ending. As many casts do for other popular television shows, the cast members of Stranger Things grew closer–forming bonds that will surely last. “This is my family. I grew up with these people. It goes so far beyond the work—and I mean that genuinely. We’ll keep these friendships for life,” says Noah Schnapp, who plays Will in Stranger Things.
Fans of all ages have been theorizing about how it will end. They are predicting deaths and twists. Theories are all over TikTok, Reddit, Discord and more! Even the students of Wayne Valley are weighing in on the discussion.
Despite the sadness of the show coming to an end, it’s very exciting to see how the rest of the season will lead up to an epic ending of this iconic show. It is also exciting to see if our predictions come true, to find out the answers to all our questions, and to see the creativity of the Duffer Brothers come to fruition.
