Weird Scholarships

There are so many scholarships that are out there that nobody really thinks to ever apply for. With the whole college process stressful as it is there might be scholarships that you fall under to help lessen the cost. Before getting yourself too stressed, check and see if you fit in any of these categories. Some of them are easier than you might think to apply for them.
Below are some weird scholarships you might want to consider applying for.
- Debt.com Scholarship for Aggressive Scholarship Applicants: $500.- A scholarship awarded for applying to as many scholarships as you can, which you should really be doing anyways.
- Doodle 4 Google Scholarship: $30,000- Draw your own doodle for google, send it in, and if it’s chosen you may be awarded $30,000 if it is picked.
- American Fire Sprinkler Association Scholarship: $2,000.- Read an essay about fire sprinklers, and answer 10 multiple choice questions. That’s literally it!
- CoffeeForLess.com Hit the Books Scholarship: $500.- Write a 500 word or less essay about what role education plays for you, through the perspective of the reasons why you love coffee.
- Shout It Out Scholarship: $1,500.- The classic cliche of “If you could say anything to the world, what would it be and why?” In 250 words or less.
- Duck Brand Duct Tape Stuck on Prom Contest: $10,000.- Make your prom dress out of duct tape. All it takes is a few days and a few dozen rolls of duct tape.
- Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarship: $10,000- If you happen to be like me, admittedly opposed to eating our furry friends, advocate for it in your school or community to become eligible.
- Wholesale Halloween Costumes Scholarship: $500- create and submit a meme for wholesale halloween costumes. It’s that easy!
- Zombie Apocalypse Scholarship: $2,000- simply persuade the scholarship judges that you are the most well equipped applicant to survive a zombie apocalypse. Then pray that your plan is never put into action.
- Brilliance Scholarship: $1,500- design a diamond ring. Submit a picture of your design along with a written explanation.
- Discover Scholarship Award: $2,500- Do nothing. There are no criteria, so you can spend your time slacking like all the other seniors.
- American Association for Nude Recreation Education Foundation: Award varies- Okay, please don’t take this too seriously. Just raise concern for some nudist issues, like body image, skin cancer, or nudist art/literature. #NoJudgement #EveryBodyIsBeautiful
- Sophie Major Memorial Duck Calling Contest: $2,000- It’s pretty self explanatory. QUACK!
- Common Knowledge Challenge Scholarships: $3,000- Based entirely on your knowledge of useless trivia. I guess those years playing trivia crack are finally paying off…
- Tall Clubs International Scholarship: $1,000- The applicants for this scholarship should be 5’10” for women and 6’2” for men.
