Anthony Poltronetti – Career

Years at Valley and Graduation Year: 2014

Time at Wayne Valley: During his highschool years, Mr. Poltronetti’s favorite subjects were biology and TV production. He was a very active member of the Valley community, participating in cross country, golf, video club, and National Honors Society.

Education: Mr. Poltronetti attended Villanova University for his undergraduate studies between 2014 and 2018, majoring in biology and minoring in business. From 2019-2023, went to Temple University School of Medicine to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree.

Work Experience: “I am currently a physician in the final year of my pediatrics residency training at Rutgers RWJ,” says Mr. Poltronetti, “I will begin training Neonatology/NICU at Westchester Medical Center this summer.”

Accomplishments: Mr. Poltronetti’s proudest accomplishment is “graduating medical school and developing into a competent pediatrics physician.”

Future: Mr. Poltronetti aims to “support families through the most challenging times of their lives and contribute to the field by learning/researching the frequently evolving practices. In order to do well in this field, lifelong learning is key.”
