Students at Wayne Valley High School had some fun before the start of winter break. From making crafts to wearing ugly sweaters, the teachers and students tried to make December magical!
All month long, Mrs. Foster hosted a Winter Wonder Land. She explains, “The students could create ornaments, make jewelry, and paint pictures. We are also showing fun movies!”
Aliyah Crespo visited the Winter Wonderland and watched Elf. “It’s fun, it’s a nice break from the schoolwork. and it’s a great opportunity to make gifts.”
Our Foods classes joined the fun and created gingerbread houses. They had a contest where students could vote on their favorites! They also participated in cupcake wars!
The Chamber Choir and alumni went caroling in the halls on Monday at the end of the day!
Mrs. Grimbulus, our principal, decided to continue the fun with a pajama day before break. Teachers and students were encouraged to wear their coziest pajamas to school.
Meanwhile, the executive student council provided ice cream from Hometown Creamery for our staff!
So enjoy the snow and the break! See you in 2026 Wayne Valley!
