I have been taking chorus since the 7th grade and I don’t think I’ll ever leave. The people in the class are so fun and helpful. The class is also such an amazing creative outlet. Chorus is a full year course open to all students—no previous experience, auditions, or special approval is necessary! The course develops the musical skills of students who enjoy singing. In order to develop proper vocal technique and the enhancement of basic musical skills, students will perform music chosen to appeal to a wide variety of interests and ability levels. Some activities may require participation outside of school hours, including performances, rehearsals, and class trips. I have learned so much about music and the culture around it. It is, overall, just a great course.
