The 2025 Wayne Valley Marching Band, featuring instruments and the Color Guard, has performed at both home football games and at competitions this season. During football halftime shows, they play music for spectators and families, and on weekends, they host, perform, and compete at competitions. Drum majors Soha Shah and Chloe Meyer lead the 2025 show, titled “Journey into the Unknown” and featuring songs “Space Oddity,” “Golden Hour,” “Moonlight Sonata,” and “To Build a Home.”
On September 28th, the marching band began their season by winning Class A first place at Randolph High School. The next Saturday, October 4th, they performed in two competitions: Though the band could not stay for the first award ceremony, having to drive to the second location, they won at their earlier performance at West Orange High School. Then, they continued their streak with another win that night at Pequannock High School!
On October 11, 2025, Wayne Valley hosted an evening of marching band performances. Top regional bands came together to celebrate music, community, and the memory of Michael McGrath. The two-time NJMBDA State Champion Wayne Valley Marching Band performed a special exhibition there.
At home competitions, remember to support our band with a candy gram and message! Great job to our 2025 Marching Band performers!
