Whether you’re looking for a fun holiday activity, a last minute present, or the perfect gift, you’ve come to the right place! These simple and fun gifts are perfect for family, friends, or anyone you know! These holiday gifts will be sure to add the special personalization and spirit that everyone needs this holiday season. All the instructions to make these items are included below.

1.Make your own ornament

What you will need:

  • Clear ornaments from a crafts store
  • Glue that dries clear (Mod Podge or something similar would work just fine)
  • Glitter! (choose whatever color(s) you like)

Directions: First, open your ornament and pour some Mod Podge inside. Next, move your ornament around so all parts of the inside are covered. Then, pour your glitter inside and shake it around. Let it dry, and you’re done. It’s just that easy!

2.Decorate your own mug

Things you will need:

  • Any mug (preferably one from a dollar store because they might break easily)
  • Sharpie oil paint markers (This is important because regular sharpies will wash off easily)

Directions: Before you begin, wash your mug with soap and water to ensure that the marker ink will stick to the cup. After this is done, you can sketch your design on the cup in pencil. Some examples of things you could draw include snowmen, christmas trees, snowflakes, or anything you choose! After this is done, go over your design in the special sharpie markers. Finally, place your cup in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees fahrenheit. After this is done, take out the mug and let it cool; it will be very hot. This cup not only makes the perfect gift, but it is also the perfect Christmas activity.

3. Mason Jar Chocolate Chip Cookie

If you know someone who loves baking, this could be the perfect gift. The best part is that you can make different variations of this gift with different recipes and types of cookies of your choosing.

Things you will need:

  • A jar (a mason jar is typically used)
  • Dry cookie ingredients
    • Flour
    • Baking Soda
    • Salt
    • Brown Sugar
    • Granulated Sugar
    • Chocolate Chips
  • A label or tag to write the baking instructions

Directions: First add 2 cups of flour. Then add one teaspoon of baking soda and one teaspoon of salt. Then add ¾ cup of brown sugar followed by ¾ cup of granulated sugar. Finally, add 2 cups of chocolate chips. When you are done with this, close the jar. On the label write, “add one cup of softened butter, one teaspoon of vanilla extract, and two large eggs”. Lastly, tie the instructions onto the jar. This gift will be sure to amaze baking lovers. All they will have to do is add the wet ingredients.

4.Felt Gift Card Holder

If you are looking for an easy, last minute gift, this is the perfect choice for you. There are so many ways that you can spice up the average gift card.

What you need:

  • A piece of felt (white if you are making a snowman)
  • Felt glue
  • Ribbon
  • Buttons
  • Gift card

Directions: First, trace a piece of felt that is about 2 ½ inches by 7 inches. Then, glue the sides together so they are closed. Make sure you’re not gluing the whole thing because your gift card will not be able to fit inside. When you’re done with this, cut a piece of ribbon in a color of your choosing. This will act as a scarf for your snowman. Last, glue on the buttons, and you’re done. Your gift card will fit snugly inside and the person receiving it will love it! 🙂
