Kindness Week

That time of the year is here again at Wayne Valley! A time where students and faculty feel appreciated by each other and a week of remembering the kind-hearted people of WV. Kindness Week was held at the school on February 18th-22nd. The activities were planned by the Peer Leaders and National Honor Society students.

Over the course of these days, teachers and students greeted people at the courtyard and main entrance doors with special messages on signs like “Be Happy,” “Smile Today,” and pictures of happy faces, reminding the students to appreciate the day.

The days of the week had themes where the school dressed up to show their support. Tuesday was Twinning for Kindness, where students can match with their best friends. Wednesday we Wear Pink for Kindness, where staff and students were decked out in pink. Thursday was Band Together for Kindness, where people wear their favorite band merchandise. Finally, Friday was Spirit Day wearing blue and white to support Wayne Valley! As well as wearing blue and white, students and teachers received compliments from anonymous people in the school, complimenting their personalities and great qualities.

Kindness Week was a hit throughout the school and is greatly looked forward to each year. To see the best parts of the week, visit @ValleyIsOne on Instagram!
