The Two Types of Snow Days
Most students await the call saying that “due to inclimate weather, schools will be closed in anticipation of a snow storm”. Sometimes the call comes right when students wake up and other times students know before they go to bed. You can do so many snow days activities. Whether it be sleigh riding, or drinking hot cocoa, there are many ways to spend your day.
If you’re the type of person who doesn’t enjoy the cold weather, you could spend your day indoors and watch television or read a good book. Grab yourself a cup of hot chocolate and pick your favorite spot on the couch. With the popular streaming service Netflix, you now have the opportunity to start and finish a whole show on your snow day. You don’t even need to change out of your pajamas! However, this may not apply to all of us, going in the snow can also be fun too!
For all of the people that would rather throw a snowball than sit inside all day, don’t forget your layers. You might be shoveling the driveway to help out your parents but there are still more enjoyable things to do. Bring out your inner child, grab a few friends and have a snowball fight. If you don’t want to have a snowball fight, build a snowman. There is always some big hills in town that you can ride your sleigh on to have fun.
There are definitely two types of ways that we spend our snow days. But it is up to you on how you spend it.
