Kindness Week

This week is Kindness Week in honor of Kindness for Christopher.

Kindness for Christopher started after Christopher was killed in a tragic boating accident in Lake Hopatcong, NJ. To keep his memory alive, his parents started Kindness for Christopher. This is a movement and not a charity. His parents simply ask for people to do one random act of kindness a day to honor of their son.

In order to bring awareness to the movement, the We Act Club at Wayne Valley High School is working with Peer Leaders to carry out “Kindness Week” the week of March 27th through the 31st.

Monday will be Bright Colors Day because kindness makes the world brighter!

Tuesday will be Favorite Superhero Day because kindness can save the world!

Wednesday will be Mismatch Day because kindness comes in many shapes and sizes!

Thursday will be Sports Team Day because kindness takes teamwork!

Friday will be Pajama Day because kindness comforts!
