Live from Room 109, Television Production I, II, III, and IV, taught by Mrs. Damer, are kicking off their opening projects for this school year. TV I contains freshmen and sophomores who are eager to begin their TV journey. They were taught and tested on the basics of the cameras in the television studio. These students are now working on their mini-docs, where they will choose an interesting topic to write about and talk in front of the camera for the first time to present their work.
With a year of TV under their belt, TV II sophomores and juniors have been on a scavenger hunt of filming. After exploring the school to practice and learn different camera shots, these students then learned how to use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit their clips together. Now, they will work on telling a story through different camera angles. TV III juniors continue working on their weekly shows, including Keeping Up With Valley and Keeping Up With Valley Sports, Community, Pop Culture, and Podcast Picks, which are now available to watch on the Wayne Valley Television YouTube channel.
TV Ill and TV IV seniors have spent the last two months working on their first “V” for the 2025-2026 school year. This year’s main anchors are Nadia Qira and Jackelyn Aguilera, with head producers Tanner Molmusa and Hana Takahashi, and head editor Bryce Flower. The other segments include school news, pop culture news, community news, sports news, and a “man on the street” segment. The “V” happens every two months of the school year in October, December, February, April, and June. This year’s first “V” will be released on October 31st, and it’s going to be a great one!
