“The Housemaid,” written by Freida McFadden, is an incredible book full of drama, love, mystery, and a bit of gore. The book is filled with witty jokes, emotional scenes, and a load of plot twists readers would never expect. The plot is full of red herrings that will make you second-guess who the true antagonist of this story is.

Now, this story is coming to the big screens on December 19 of this year. Despite a promising trailer, will this movie truly live up to the original, or will it be one of those horrible movie depictions of a beloved book?
