This year’s Junior Formal for the class of 2026 was held at The Grand in Totowa on March 14th, from 6:30 to 10:30 PM. In the months leading up to this event, juniors were busy talking about dress shopping, photoshoot opportunities, and all their plans for the night.
A group chat was created for all the junior girls to send their dresses, and each one received loving compliments from the other girls. The group chat has a significant purpose other than just showing off your dress: it is to ensure no one buys the same dress. Friend photoshoots were taken at different times and places, all with unique backgrounds. Some went down to Packanack Lake to get the beautiful greenery in the back, while others took pictures in their backyards or living rooms.
The Grand offered a wide variety of different foods, ranging from appetizers to dessert. Throughout the evening, the whole grade was dancing and having a magical experience. The night ended with each junior receiving a Junior Formal t-shirt.
Overall, this year’s Junior formal was a hit. It was a great opportunity to show off everyone’s unique style and allowed for all the juniors to spend time with their class. It was a memorable experience that will be talked about for years to come.
