Children invade Wayne Valley High School every year in April and this year is no different! According to the U.S. Department of the Interior, “Bring a Kid to Work Day is an annual event held on the 4th Thursday of April.”
This year the school set up cupcake decorating in the Foods room. Art classes made slime and other projects. Fun photo shoots happened. The media center set up coloring, games, bracelet making and movies like Trolls Band Together and Sing. The physical education classes had wiffle ball and other bouncy balls.
One child, Kian, participated in the phys ed games. He says, “My dad is a gym teacher so he teaches me all the things he teaches you guys.”
Audrey Nazarko taught her mother’s English classes about propaganda while they read 1984.
Until next year…
