With spring right around the corner, formal comes along as well! This year’s Junior Formal took place at the Brownstone in Paterson! It was held on Thursday, March 21st from 6-10 PM. The days leading up to formal were filled with excited and anxious energy.

For the whole year leading up to formal, girls have been stressing over finding the perfect dress for themselves. Every girl in Junior year is invited to a GroupMe group chat showcasing everyone’s beautiful dress! It seems that the theme for this year was sparkly, form-fitting, short dresses. Not only does the group chat show everyone your beautiful dress, it also serves the purpose of making sure you don’t buy the same dress as someone else. You don’t want to copy someone. Everyone looked stunning!

There were a plethora of food options there for everyone. Mrs. Wills and Señora Colón wanted to make the food accessible to everybody, so the option of anything having to do with pork was left out. There were fruits, veggies, meats, and some delicious desserts at Formal. Everything tasted delicious!

Not only was there delicious food, but there was also an amazing DJ! Our school advisors have been using this DJ company for quite some time now, and they love it. All of the students loved it as well. I mean, who wouldn’t want amazing music at formal?

With formal ending, I would like to thank Mrs. Wills and Señora Colón for all of the hard work and effort they put into planning this magical night. I’m sure the whole process was extremely stressful and we all hope that they can finally get a break! Without them, the night wouldn’t have become a reality.
