Fun Holiday Festivities

Looking for events to put you in the holiday spirit? Look no further! Wayne offers many fun and festive events to get you in the holiday mood! Some to look forward to are the PAL’s annual Breakfast with Santa on December 14th at 9 am, as well as a Christmas party for those with special needs on Friday December 6th at 7 pm! If you love listening to christmas music, consider attending the Winter Concert hosted by the United Methodist Church in Wayne, on Sunday December 8th at 3 pm. In the mood to listen to traditional orchestral traditional christmas classics? Well, this holiday season, the Orchestra of St. Peter by the Sea is performing their yearly Christmas Concert at Our Lady of the Valley Church on December 21st at 7:30 pm. If your looking to hear some holiday classics, both old and new, this orchestral concert is a must-see. 

Christmas is not the only holiday being celebrated this season, and if you want to learn about other cultures and their winter celebrations, the Shea Center of Performing arts presents a  production of “Holidays Around the World”. This play follows lead characters Nick and Joy on their journey to make it home in time for the holidays. While on their quest home, they discover how this time of year is uniquely celebrated by different cultures around the globe. Join Nick and Joy in learning about the wonderful and exciting aspects of Christmas, Kwanzaa, Lohri, and even the Chinese New Year. There are many activities this winter season to get you in the festive mood; hopefully everyone has a happy holiday season, and a wonderful new year!
