NHS student Katherine O’Donnell read about a parent of one of the victims of the Florida school shooting. The parent asked schools, sports teams, businesses and church groups from across the nation to send banners of encouragement and support to welcome the students back to school on Tuesday February 27.

She contacted the parent for more information and has arranged to send a banner from Wayne Valley. Students and faculty signed the banner during the lunch periods and after school! They are proud to support the students and faculty of Stoneman Douglas.
