It’s official: the 2024 SDA theme is Toy Box! With this being the theme, the captains will bring your childhood favorites to life! The Blue Team’s themes for this year include Candy Land, Playing Cards, Transformers, Clue, and Legos. Blue overall, Brooke Scott, is leading the The Blue Team, with captains Izzy Mahida and Kim Massood for Pom, Alexandra Werner and Sienna Espositio for Jazz, Sabrina and Chloe Meyer for Aerobics, and Lily March and Alli Roth for Tap. The White Team’s themes are Barbie, Hot Wheels, Game of Life, G.I. Joe, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. White overall, Alexa Ferrigno is leading The White Team, with captains Sofia Wallace and Evie Logiudice for Jazz, Emma Wolfelsperger and Angie Zatkos for Pom, Sanjana Jayanth and Talia Qira for Tap, and Angela Bottazzi and Olivia Von Lindern for Aerobics.

We are ecstatic to see how these dances will come together and what the season will bring for these incredible Captains! With some Captains returning from last year, you will not want to miss what they have up their sleeves. It is now time for these Captains to get to work bringing these visions to life before practices begin in early February. Some pre-season activities will also be occurring for them as well. With Freshman meet and greets on December 18th and dance sign-ups slowly approaching, it is officially SDA season in the Valley! So, sit back and fasten your seat belts because we are in for a thrilling ride this season!
