As school comes to a close and the summer rolls in, trying out new recipes is something that is very creative and fun to do with friends and family. So I’ve gathered 3 simple, beginner-friendly, and easy recipes to try.
Strawberry Milkshake ( No Ice Cream needed) – I think on a hot summer day a nice cool milkshake will definitely help keep me cool and refreshed.
Ingredients:
-
- Milk
- Honey
- Vanilla Extract
- Strawberries
Directions – Place the ingredients in a blender and blend until you get the consistency you desire.
Frozen Yogurt Bark With Berries – As someone who loves yogurt this seems like it was meant for me.
Ingredients:
- Plain yogurt
- Berries
- Granola
- Honey or Maple Syrup
- Vanilla Extract
- Sheet Pan
Directions – Mix your yogurt with a dash of vanilla and either some maple syrup or honey. Then spread it on a sheet pan after laying down some parchment paper, then chop up the berries and crumble the granola onto the yogurt. Lastly, let it freeze for about three hours so it can be fully set. Enjoy!
Rice Krispies Treats – Amazingly tasty and crunchy-chewy with the right amount of sweetness to it.
Ingredients:
- Rice Krispies cereal
- Marshmallows
- Vanilla extract
- Salt
- Butter
Directions – Get a pan and coat it with butter or non-stick spray, then using whatever method you want, melt the marshmallows and butter and mix. Then add in some vanilla extract and the cereal pieces, Take the mixture to the pan and press the mixture into the shape of the pan and allow the mixture to cool for 15-20 mins and cut the bars into squares.
