Winter Activities

I know many people just want to sleep or stay cuddled up under a blanket in the cold weather, but in the case you want something new to do, here are some fun ideas for winter activities! If you are looking for some entertainment from the comfort of your own home, try baking, crafts, or movie marathons. You can whip-up tasty treats for your whole family, design bracelets or ornaments, or invite your friends to come watch shows and movies you have been wanting to see. Now, there are some extra fun activities you can do if you are willing to venture out into the cold. First, you could go ice skating at the Ice Vault Arena. They have free skate hours almost every day. Second. you could go drive around and look at all the holiday lights and decorations around town. If you really enjoy this you could go see some holiday light shows! New York City has a great one in Times Square which is located right next to Rockefeller Center. There they have the Rockefeller Tree on display and nearby is a whole holiday village set up at Bryant Park. There is also always just the excitement of going in your backyard and building a snowman when it snows. Whatever you choose to do this winter, have fun!
