College Tours at Wayne Valley

October 17, 2022

If you are a senior or a junior going through the college decision process, Wayne Valley has the perfect opportunities to help you find the right college that suits you! This year, admission representatives are visiting Wayne Valley from over 40 colleges and universities, giving seniors and juniors the perfect opportunity to connect with college officials.

As a senior, you have a limit of 10 visits, while juniors have a limit of 3 visits. An admission representative is in charge of applications, so this is a great opportunity to ask any questions you might have about a particular school. Having your mind open to multiple options and getting a feel for which college or university is right for you is a very important part of the college decision process.

Some colleges and universities you may have heard of that are visiting this year include Drew University, Rutgers University, Lehigh University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and Fairleigh Dickinson University. Many other colleges and universities are visiting, and through your student account on Naviance, you can access the list of all the campuses visiting Wayne Valley. To access the list, first sign into your Naviance account and scroll down on the menu page to the title “What’s New”. Once you are on the “What’s New” page, you will find a list of the colleges and universities coming to Wayne Valley, including times, dates, and the representative’s name. The registration process is straightforward, all you have to do is click “register now” after selecting your College choice, and you are all set. Since many visits take place during class, with the teacher’s permission, you will get an E-Hall pass which will excuse you from the class.

Don’t forget that you only have a limited amount of passes, so use them wisely! Hopefully, these opportunities will ease you into your college decision process.
