The first scrumptious winter recipe can be used to make delicious white fudge oreo hot chocolate. This piping hot cup of hot chocolate is not only inexpensive and comforting, but it is also the perfect treat on a cold winter night!  This unique cup of hot chocolate only takes seven minutes to make, has only four ingredients, and is quick and easy to make,

The ingredients needed to make this drink include ½ cup chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons water, 1 ½  cup of milk, and 2 white fudge oreos, crushed. First melt the chocolate and water in a pan. When the chocolate is melted, slowly stir in the milk. Add the crushed oreos and it’s finished! Serve with more oreos or with a dollop of whipped cream. Enjoy this quick and fun recipe at home! 

Another recipe that is perfect for chocolate lovers is warm chocolate pudding. The rich soft interior and crunchy top of this dessert will be a possible favorite at your family gatherings. The ingredients you will need include 4 ounces of chopped semisweet chocolate, ½ a stick of unsalted butter, 4 tablespoons of sugar, 2 eggs with the yolks and whites separated, ½ a teaspoon of vanilla extract, and ¼ a teaspoon of salt. To make this treat you must start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees and setting aside 6 ounce ovenproof bowls on a baking sheet. Then place the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl and set it over (not in) a saucepan of boiling water. Stir this until it is melted, remove it from the heat and add in 2 tablespoons of sugar, egg yolks and vanilla. In another medium bowl, beat the egg whites and salt until soft peaks form. While still beating, add the remaining sugar and stop once the mixture is stiff and glossy. Next add about ⅓ of the egg white mixture to the chocolate mixture and mix gently until combined, divide the new mixture among bowls. Bake until the tops are puffed and cracked but insides are still soft, 20-25 minutes. Once you are finished serve while warm or at room temperature, you can top the pudding with ice cream if desired!

If the holiday treat you crave does not involve chocolate, then this next treat is perfect for you! This last recipe is for an absolute must-have winter dessert: apple squares! Made from crisp apples and sweet cinnamon, this treat is perfect for eating by the fire on a drowsy Sunday night. This snack requires a little bit of skill, so make sure you have an adult or know how to work all of the equipment used! The ingredients needed for this delectable dessert are 1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, ¼ cup butter, ½ brown sugar, ½ cup white sugar, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, ½ cup chopped apple, ½ cup chopped walnuts, 2 tablespoons white sugar, and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9×9 inch pan. In a bowl sift flour, baking powder, salt, and ¼  teaspoon of cinnamon, set this aside. In another large bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and ½ cup of white sugar until smooth. Stir in the egg and vanilla. Then, blend the flour mixture until combined, and stir in the apples and walnuts. Spread the mixture evenly into the pan. In a small bowl, mix the remaining cinnamon and sugar to sprinkle over the finished bars. Baking should take about 25-30 minutes, once cooled cut the dessert into squares.
