On Wednesday, May 25th, the Wayne Valley Quiz Bowl Team competed against the Wayne Hills Quiz Bowl Team in a friendly competition in the Wayne Valley Media Center. After a round of refreshments, pizza, and socializing, the competition began. Categories ranged from U.S. Government and Politics to Music and Film. The game ended in a tie. When asked about the competition, sophomore Cat Olson exclaimed, “There was lots of food and it was lots of fun!”

This is an annual event, and the location alternates between the schools each year. “We’re very proud of the friendly environment we’ve cultivated here,” said Stephanie Tang, Wayne Valley Quiz Bowl Captain.

This was Mrs. Gainer’s last year of running the Quiz Bowl team!  The members will surely miss her and her vast knowledge next year!
