Wayne Valley Band received an interesting donation this winter: a tour book signed by all the members of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, and specializes in pushing the boundaries of rock opera, and instilling emotion and poetry into the dying genre.

The Orchestra saw a video of Wayne Valley’s performance of Carol of the Bells on Youtube, and promptly contacted Mr. Warfield, the director of Wayne Valley’s band.

“He called me on the phone and said that he really enjoyed our music,” Mr. Warfield said. “He asked us for our address, and a few weeks later we received a package from them.” The package contained a large book, signed by the many members of the orchestra.

Wayne Valley Band is happy to receive recognition from such a celebrated group!
